JOHN DEERE 60” MOWER DECK with MOUNTING HARDWARE for 755, 855 and 955 TRACTORS
This is an extra mower that came with a 755 I recently acquired. I was told it is a working deck that was replaced for a newer deck. Everything spins easily. The previous owner claimed it was loud but it didn’t vibrate. I couldn’t f eel any play in the bearings when I tried to wiggle the blades by hand. Complete with driveshaft. Mounting arms, hitch, covers and good belt I believe everything is here to mount it except for one pin where the front arms attach to the hitch One driveshaft end has a keyway for the shaft on the deck and the other end is for a splined shaft on the tractor. I understand the tractors may be different and the driveshaft end can be changed. Some dings in the deck and it is starting to develop a few holes. For sale is a Swisher 44" Rough Cut mower. It has a 12.5hp Briggs and Stratton that runs great. This mower does not have much operational time on it. Cut's as good as any pto driven bush hog. Can be pulled with a garden tractor. ATV, or small tractor. Adjustable hitch. Great for small fields or cutting trails. I put new fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, and spark plug last summer. Also upgraded to a heavier Kevlar belt. I did not use it at all this summer as I did not need it. The one tire does not hold air for long. JOHN DEERE 60" 770, 870, 790 etc. TRACTOR BELLY MOWER
This item has always been stored in the dry. This is a 60" John Deere Tractor mount belly mower. It drives from the belly PTO and comes with the attachments you will need to hook it up. The 60 inch cut deck has three blades and the deck is in overall good condition. The caster wheels are all in great shape and show very little if any wear. The protective rub rail on the side of the deck is in perfect shape with no wear down or worn areas. The gear box is smooth and tight with no wear. Everything was in perfect working condition when the deck was removed from service. The mower was used a couple of years until we had a front mount loader installed on the JD 770 tractor we have. It has been stored in the dry for a few years and not ever put back on. We use the loader a lot more than we did the belly mower so we are offering it here for ... morea very reasonable price because we need the storage space. Super Heavy Duty 18 foot finish mower / field mower
This is a heavy duty 18 foot wide field mower. It mows great and you will not find one made today of this heavy duty quality. The blades are in good condition. And this mower has a self lubricating bearing system that keeps all bearings lubricated. Some of the tires are weathered and some have slow leaks. I do not know the brand of this mower, the only parts I have ever needed were belts and I simply matched them up by the numbers. It will take a tractor with at least 90-100 horsepower to pull this mower really well, although I was pulling it with a Ford 8N, first gear, full throttle. It is a six spline shaft, for a 540 RPM PTO. The mower could use a coat of paint, I thought John Deere green with yellow pulley covers and rims would be nice, I just do not have the time.
