It sat doing nothing most of the time. Very expensive when new. I have upgraded with a new larger machine and it time to find it a new man cave. It has served my well. Lincoln Ranger 8 Welder with LN-25 Wire Feeder and Leads
I am selling a Lincoln Ranger 8 welder with an Ln-25 wire feeder and 50' of 1/0 leads. The welder has the Onan P16 engine with just under 1600 hrs. The engine has over 105 psi of compression which is well within the specs Onan states of 70-115 psi. Runs and welds great. Idler works great and has a new voltage regulator installed. Lots of life left in this welder. The LN-25 has a built in contactor and gas solenoid and has a Radnor gun. Setup for.045 inner shield wire. Unit panels have been repainted with enamel and new decals and faceplate have been added. The original face plate with the S/N and code are located under the new panel. The paint is not perfect but does look good. This welder will look GREAT on the back of a nice welding rig. I will deduct $850 if the wire feeder and leads are not wanted. Made in USA! Selling AS-FOUND. AS-IS! The only reason I'm putting this in"parts or repair" is because I have no way of testing it. I'm told the generator/stick welder this was used with quit working and this was removed from the trailer it was on. It has a 110v cord. But has no welding power supply or ground. It appears complete and functional- all the parts are tight and seem to function properly. Except the high pressure gauge housing is a little loose and the dial face has a dent. Found in two pieces. They likely took it apart to remove it with a torch, then lost the bolts. I'll add another photo(scroll past the bottom) that I took when I removed the cover to put some bolts in it. I have used this welder for years. It has been a very good welder. It comes with a nearly new gun and cable. I think it is a 16 foot. I am selling it because one day while welding it just stopped feeding wire. I checked it's breakers and all good. I don't think it would take much to make it work again, but I DO NOT know that for a fact. It powers up and sounds like it works it just does not feed wire.
