For sale is a Quest Technologies Model 2800 Type II Sound Level Meter in perfect condition. Accessories(see picture) include everything needed to operate such as the microphone. The QC-10 calibrator, windscreen, screwdriver, belt clip, and computer cables. I bought this from a previous employer where I knew it had received little use and only in a cleanroom environment. I've since only used it a few times so it really is in excellent conditions, no scratches, dents. etc. The last factory calibration was in July 2011 and it still reads accurately when compared with meters of fresher calibration. Heathkit IM-58 Audio analyzer, I.M. Distortion Meter
This is for parts and as is. It does power on. The meter moved around a bit. However, I have no way to verify it works. Someone modded it by adding a switch at the input labelled"Hi-Z and 600 Ohm(probably a good thing) Someone also put a hole in the top of the unit(see picture) maybe to adjust a pot inside? I did not open the unit. The case is stained and a bit dirty but could be cleaned up with some elbow grease. If your a tech or a ham then you know what your looking at and what it is used for. As I recall if your trying to measure harmonic distortion in an HF rig this is a tool you need. This might be a great project or you can use for parts for another unit.
