Labconco console centrifugal concentrator and cold trap system
This is a complete concentrator system in one unit that you can roll around the lab. We used this console unit in our lab for several years and it shows the usual signs a wear. But not much. There is a scratch on one side from where we pulled it in and out of the spot where we stored it. Still works as far as we can tell. All lights go green on the console. Centrifuge turns(see picture) heater heats, cooling system cools, vacuum pump sucks(i.e. it works OK as far as we can tell) The unit should ship as two pieces. The console weighs about 80 pounds and the vacuum pump. Which weighs about 40 pounds. We could put it all on a pallet if you wanted to ship it that way- your call. It represents an opportunity to be rebuilt to a really nice vapor deposition system primarily by investing time. The facility that removed it from use is mandated by policy to disable the machine prior to disposal. To achieve same. The PLC was removed and the control wiring from the PLC was cut and most of the indicator lights on the control panel were removed. Thankfully. The disabling was limited to wiring.
