Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder Feel free to ask questions via email or(540)381-3011 For sale is this used Lincoln SA-250-D3.152 DC Arc Welder. The welder is used and a bit older. But without any major damage. Has the normal bit of rust and wear for a welder of this age. Quite a bit of the paint has flaked off. There is some rust under where the battery goes. Though it is still structurally intact. The tires are both in good shape and I didn't see any cracks in the sidewall. Does not include a title for the trailer. The trailer uses a 2" ball. See photos below for more details on physical condition. We charged the included battery and the welder started right up within a second or two of cranking(50F outside) The engine sounded good and ran well. We let it run for awhile until up to about 150F on the temperature gauge. The oil ... morepressure gauge always showed max. pressure. So not sure if there is a problem with it or not. The welder does leak some oil. Seems to be coming from the oil pan. We have tried the two 115V A/C type outlets and they both power equipment just fine, each was 120V at 57Hz(a little low, but speed could be increased a bit) The 240V outlets also output fine at 240V and 57Hz. We connected up welding leads(not included) and were able to weld fine with the unit. The auto idle feature works well and idles down after not being used for 15 seconds and then goes to high idle when in use. We are located in Christiansburg. VA 24073. From what I can tell this welder is overall in good working order. We have included the video below of the welder in operation. I bought this welder and wire feeder new as a set. The welder has 4063.9 hours(actual hours) Both items are in excellent working condition and serviced as needed per the owners manual. The wire feeder is a 24V constant speed wire feeder has 14 pin hook up and gas hook up. I am now including a 50' 14 pin cable and a 25' ground cable with clamp. You are buying a vintage Miller 320 AB multi-process welder that is ready to go. It includes the welding leads for stick. It*ALSO* includes the foot pedal and air cooled torch for TIG. The machine has had a platform added to hold a cylinder of welding gas and a bracket to hold the welding leads. It is in good working condition. But has not been tested to the limits of it's specifications. I only have it on a 60A circuit and have not needed to weld at full power with it. It is rated for 100A. I have done a small amount of TIG with it. But my skill with TIG needs work. At the time I did not have the foot pedal which made it extremely difficult to do. I have owned this machine for about 6 years and run about 5 pounds of electrodes on it. I bought it as a capable stick machine with the desire to grow into TIG. I am moving soon and will not ... morehave the space(or power) for it in my next house. This machine weighs approximately 900 pounds. I do have a forklift to assist in loading. My preference is local pickup. But I can skid/palletize and load for freight. A skid charge of $75 will apply which covers the time for me to find a pallet, the lumber to block the unit up, and the time to load it and strap it to a skid. It also covers my cost associated with waiting on the freight truck(typically a 4 hour window) and making sure it gets out. This is a great machine and they do not make them like this anymore. That said. It is sold as-is. You are welcome to test the machine when you pick it up. Bring your own gloves and protective eyewear.
