Airco 250 Amp Ac/Dc Bumblebee Arc Welder (Miller Dialarc)
This old welder is single phase 230 or 460 so it can be used in a home shop or industrial location. The welds in the pictures were made with this welder. The high low switch. AC, DC+ and DC- all work fine. At some point in its life the red lug shorted out to the case making the hole larger. The lug was replaced at that time, I welded a washer over the hole to make the lug fit right and to keep it from being a problem in the future. I bought a lot of welders from a closed vocational school and will be listing them on here. Every welder is wired up and tested before being listed. I will wire it up and let you test it if you pick it up in person. This welder does not come with leads or power cord. I purchased the welder from a surplus sale about 10- 15 years ago and ran it up to about 2 years ago. I had a small weld shop in the south east. This welder was the work horse of the shop. This welder has welded allot of aluminium. Stainless, copper nickel, and carbon steel. It has made its money back 3000 times. The machine is good, the TIG system works great, I have even used it with a miller wire feed system as the primary power source. Machine comes with a 300 amp Jackson stinger that is approximately 25 foot. the pig tail is 14 feet with a attached ground that is approximately 12 feet with an additional ground extinction of another 12 feet.
