Up for auction is a Victoreen Model Cg 50 LS Jordan Electronics Instrument. I know nothing of this other than it came from an estate sale where there were refurbished Geiger counters everywhere. In effort to acquire just one counter this came in the same box. The canister is 11 1/2 inches long and diameter is 4 inches. Insides are shown in picture 4 that shows another canister inside with a circuit with a tube type socket attachment that connects the the inter canister to the outer. in total the weight is exactly 3 lbs. Meter and counter(light) This is a piece of history. Information taken from the website of ORAU.org: Output: no speaker but jack for headphones. The neon light labeled"Count" flashes every time a pulse is registered. Detector: Six Victoreen 6306 thin-walled GM tubes with bismuth cathodes.
