This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks and scratches on the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are all in good condition. The digital display is in good condition with no cracks or chips. The connections are in good condition with no dents or cracks. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We connected this item to several capacitors and resistors of various power. The meter read these items without any issues. We were able to use all the function buttons without any issues and they all worked and responded ... morecorrectly. We then ran the item through a self test and function"C" passed without any issues. Function"L" failed at 100u and"R" failed at 1000m. You are bidding on one(1) General Radio Model 1606A RF Bridge. The 1606 bridge needs no introduction. It has served engineers for decades and se en service in AM antenna fields the world over. I personally used this unit in an AM antenna system in Alaska above the Arctic Circle. It performed flawlessly. I recently got involved in broad-banding of AM antennas. The standard Delta OIB-1 is really not suitable for this work. The 1606 is perfect for this. Its precise readout allow pin-point accuracy in reading carrier and sideband impedances. The main features are frequency range of 400 kHz to 60 MHz. Direct reading of resistance to 1000 Ώ and reactance to +/ 5000 Ώ. Standard General Radio type 874 connector is provided for generator input. A coax cable with 874 on one end and BNC on the other end is provided. A slow motion mechanism allows for precise dial readings. Uses 4"D" cell batteries. Readings occur when dials are set for null for resistors. Or for lowest meter reading for other components. Main dial then shows the exact value multiplied by multiplier value dial. Range it will measure are: C: 1 pF- 1100 uF L: 1 uH- 1100 H R: 1 milliohm- 1.1 megohms Conductance: 1 nanomho- 1.1 mhos Tested with several capacitors. Inductors and resistors and results compared to my Sencore autoZ meter.
