This auction is for these 400 watt High pressure sodium hazardous location listed light fixtures. They were all in working condition when they were removed. These fixtures are intended to be mounted from a 3/4" rigid steel conduit or nipple in a pendant style arrangement although several of them have 1/2" to 3/4" reducing bushings installed. Which can be removed or the fixtures can be mounted with 1/2" conduit. I can palletize and ship multiple lights through a freight company if requested by the buyer.

These are 8ft fluorescent commercial grade gro lite or regular light fixtures. There are 2 units here. I did power up one unit and 6 of 8 bulbs did lite. Each ballast operates 2 tubes so I would guess a ballast is needed( available at Home Depot/ Lowes) The photo shows one fixture with all tubes. I think they are all gro tubes, The 2nd fixture is the same but I have never powered it up. There are no bulbs in this one so I am not sure of it's working condition. To service the inside of the enclosure you would have to drill out the 1/8 rivets and replace with screws. They are made of galv. sheet metal but do show some rust so they could use some paint. These are listed as one, so both must go together. These items are pick up only, in the Dover/ Sparta N.J. area. Thanks

These fixtures cost over $150.00-$200.00 when new. The light put out by this fixture is white in color. These come complete with a 22 inch Reflector, a 22 inch refractor, mounting hook and a Bulb. There are two ways to get to 277 volt. One is touse one leg of 480 volt and the neutral ground. The second way is to use a buck boost transformer to boost your 240 volt to 277 volt.
