The temperature and humidity calibration compares to my reference unit. The clock timer works but the clock calibration was not checked. The clock ran for one day without stopping before I stopped it on purpose to clean it for this auction. The ink pens are dry you have to replace them. The barrel spins by the clock. You need chart paper or make your own. There is a clip system so you can attach homemade charts if you want. This heavy recorder is about seven inches in diameter and is hinged, with three wall- or table-mount screw holes in its bottom half. The following results were observed: It powers up and the Zero Set knob adjusts the zero position of the pen. As it should. The Pen Up/Down lever works as it should. When set to record. With an appropriate voltage range selected, the pen moves back and forth in synch with the sine wave input. Varying the amplitude of the sine wave varies the distance that the pen moves correspondingly. Varying the frequency of the sine wave varies the frequency with which the pen moves correspondingly.
