Miller Maxstar 150 STL Tig welder in excellent condition. This welder has not been used very much. I have done some stick welding with it and a few small tig jobs. It does a really good job Tig welding stainless steel. It is a great welder. Very light and portable. It is set up to run on 120v but can also run on 240v. The welder has a few scratches on it from normal use, but I have always stored it in the case. The consumable kit is new, with nozzles and different size tungsten rods. Esab Miniarc 150 APS inverter Arc / tig welder
I don't really wanna sell this. But I must. This welder is a really nice portable machine, the only inverter I've had that'll truly burn 6010 rod. I've included pics of it in action. Along with pics of several different electrodes that it ran. That one pic with the really nice sheet of slag is 1/8" 7018@ about 115 amps, the other pic without the rod is 3/32" 6010@ 55-60 amps. This is NOT new. So don't expect as much. It has bumps bruises and scratches. When the amps are set too low, it chirps like a loose belt. Works good on 110v and 220v, with 220v burning a little hotter regardless of the setting. Google for the specs and reviews, no comparison to a chicom machine such as Longevity or Everlast. Here is a Powcon Single or 3 phase welder#MST300 Inverter Mig Stick and Tig welder I have had for some time. I pulled it out 6 months ago to use for stick and the display was just wandering up and down. I did weld that day. I set the current Pot where I thought it should be and did weld with it but the display was all over the place even while welding. Hope this describes what is wrong with this unit. Sold as is for parts or repair. On single phase it is rated 10-300 amps 220 volt and on 3 phase 10-400 amps 220 or 440 volt. Operation Manual included. Miller Maxstar 175, Tig / Stick Welder converted to 220 single phase and tested
Miller Maxstar 175 welder converted to 220 single phase power and tested with stick and tig. Works great. Should have about the same output as the Maxstar 152 welder(150 amps DC) Has lift arc. I converted this using instructions on Honda tech forum( do a search) I have done several of these conversions and they work great. Welder comes without power cord because I pulled the cord off my plaz to test it. No leads, no torch, no foot pedal. Pretty clean machine for it's age.
