It has 50 ft. of# 1 welding leads with quick couplers for ease of changing polarity. It comes with a practically new stinger and a ground clamp. The welder is all copper wound. And was re-built in the late seventies. It was used as a portable welder where I once worked. I purchased the welder in the early eighties. It has been in my possession ever since and was always stored inside. At that time it was a hand crank start. I installed a starter/ battery and wired it to charge the battery off ... moreof the welder electrical system. It has a rain proof Wisconsin muffler. I cleaned the carburetor and gas tank, installed a new battery and also changed the oil and filter. It is strictly a DC welder there are no AC or DC outlets. I have not put 10 hours on the welder since I purchased it. CONDITION; The shroud has a hole near the bottom where a fin broke off the fly wheel and was ejected through the shroud. The flywheel has been repaired but the hole was not. Hard to see. The welder has a few dents. Scrapes but all and all the welder is in excellent shape. It doesn’t leak oil, or burn oil. The welder works good. The controls work as they should. The commutator and brushers are in excellent condition. It has a reproduction of the“Operations manual” included. Honda EW171 DC Arc Welder AC Generator
This is a good running welder/generator. Welding range is 50-170 amps DC. Generator is 4KVA. Starts easily. Runs and welds well. Started it today after sitting for a couple months and it started on the second pull. The frame shows wear. But not bent. I mounted some wheels to the bottom for mobility in the garage. Prefer local sale, but I will drain the gas and oil to ship at the buyers expense. This weighs about 220lbs without the pallet, so it would need to ship freight.
