The LCD screen is beautifully clear and legible and all the control paint is perfectly clear and legible. The battery is included and installed. I used one of these meters in the early 80's and it compared favorably to my 2203/1613/4144 I was amazed because we paid a lot less for the Quest kit and it didn't break down as much(meter neck problems threads stripped or jammed) and when we sent it in to Anaheim(after a while no longer in business) we were always told it needed a new 4144 and the charged us to repaint it $400.00,$ 1100.00 for new microphone. These meters are very rugged and reliable. Everything in the pictures is included hand held meter can be used for frequency measuring. I have chart with correction factors for 6Kand 8 K but it has a flat response otherwise. The corrections on 6 and 8KHZ ... moreare less than 2db. Quest Technologies 2700 Sound Level Meter Kit w/ CA-12B Calibrator & OB-100 Set
Please review all 12 HD Photos before purchasing. This is a used Quest 2700 Impulse Sound Level Meter. It is a little dirty. Mainly from the foam which is in very poor shape. Speaking of the foam. I'm talking about the foam in the carry case, it is in terrible condition and the glue or adhesive is breaking down creating a sticky mess. The tools are kept in plastic, so plan on purchasing a new carry case. All that aside. The instrument seems to operate as it is designed. I tested the unit extensively as I know how. The only issue I found is on the OB-100 Octave Filter Set, the"Time" button is missing. I assume there should be a button there. Please see photos.

Here is a very nice Simpson Sound Measuring System. This kit includes their 884-2 type S2A Sound Level Meter(serial no. 004166) and the 890-2 Sound Level Calibrator(serial no. 066528) Also has the foam windscreen and the original registration card. No manual is included but this should be readily available from Simpson. Tested and appears to work well- we have included a pic showing a result when using the calibrator. In absolutely superb condition too- you will not be disappointed! Comes in the factory supplied hard plastic carry case. There is an extra space for their 898 Octave Band Filter(not included here)which was an extra-cost option as stated on the card that is at the bottom of the compartment. This Quest Electronics Model 215 Sound Level Meter and CA12-B Calibrator is in good condition. They come in their original hard case with their original instruction manuals. The Calibrator produce high pitch sound. And the 215 sound level meter indicates the sound level when it is connected to the calibrator. The meter is in good shape except the plating at the tip has a rust/ oxidation spot the size of a nickel(see picture 10) The case it comes in is also in very good condition.
