Minipack Torre Junior Shrink Wrap - Garbage Unit, Can't Repair, NO GOOD
My Minipack Junior + E is available for parts or as the shell for any military style anti-personnel vehicles or maybe even a tank you're building as a hobby. This was a relatively inexpensive model when bought new. But I didn't realize then that it was a disposable model. The parts are absolutely inaccessible without a plasma cutter. Once this machine breaks down, at all, there appears to be absolutely no way to perform the repair. Defects? This unit developed a physical defect in that the heater stopped working. When I finally found the control board on which to test fuses. Caps, etc. I can't get to it. The entire shroud of this Minipack Junior is what appears to be one consistent and solid piece of sheet metal. There are panels which would allow access to this board, however, they are spot welded to the base substructure of ... morethe unit. The major defect is in engineering. Access to critical parts is difficult. This has been the most unbelievable and frustrating piece of equipment I have ever owned. I STRONGLY URGE you to choose a competitor manufacturer such as the good folks at Stevenson Industries. Their machines aren't anything like the low-quality garbage POS(piece of. stuff) piles of heavy steel that Minipack builds. They build properly: American engineering and innovation. And the most friendly and knowledgeable customer service. In my opinion. The Minipack Torre Junior shrink wrap system is the worst possible way to waste $2500. The system is poorly built even when new. We started to have problems right away with the heating strip and uneven bag sealing. Then, we couldn't get the proper part delivered to repair it. Then, after months of trying, the part came, but didn't solve that problem. Now, when I really need some help and my business is dead in the water, I send an email both to Italy and California at the same time.
