It is made of hard plastic and does not require a battery or other power source. I have shown a quarter in the pictures for size reference. This is a used. Good-condition, functional RF field strength meter that was built from a it produced by LNS Technologies. The kit has been built by an experienced electrical engineer. And the quality of construction is very good. The original assembly manual is included. This useful electronic kit is a wide-band RF detector that indicates RF field strength in the 100KHz-500Mhz range at low levels.
