Got a plasma torch that from what I was told was working before the machine was disposed of. I cannot guarantee it as I do not have a machine to test it with. As you can see in pic it is taped up on the handle. The handle has RPT-42ER on it. I think that equates to a PCH-42ER model 7-4222 if I understand the numbers correctly. But I am no expert on all this. Has the screw on leads. Not the twist lock style. I know that new ones are crazy expensive. Just look up a few part numbers for this thing and you will quickly want to cry. For example: The 90 degree head Thermal dynamics part# 9-8443 is $200. Assuming everything was connected properly nothing should have failed. However the most expensive item on the HPR130 is a circuit board worth roughly $2500. I bought this cutter new. It has a date of May 2001 on it so I guess it was right around that time. I've used it very little; it probably has an hour of actual use on it. I have a'home shop' only and it has not seen commercial use or used my anyone but me. It works with no problems nor has it ever had any issues that needed fixing or looking into. It has spent its life on a cart underneath my TIG welder inside a climate controlled shop. It's a little dusty but has never seen outdoor use or been exposed to the elements. This unit also is equipped with a tracer eye. The floppy drive does not work. But there are 50 shapes loaded on the hard drive. I have included a picture of the shapes loaded on the drive. This machine will cut straight lines, squares, and rectangles all day and night, but it does have an issue with circles and shapes with more than four sides. The encoders are malfunctioning. We have other machines. So we do not want to spend the time or money to repair the problem. I have included two pictures of a 14" hexagon cut on 1 1/2" plate.
