No Paypal accepted for this item. Cash only Here I have a very nice Lincoln. Classic I, SA200, gasoline welder. It has less than 500 hours on it. It usualy cranks with a little choke, and the bump of the starter. I just made the trailer for it. The trailer is for a 2" ball, has a new 2000 lb axle with springs and two new wheels and tires. The frame of the trailer is made of 3" channel. I replaced the exhaust with a tractor muffler about four years ago. I replaced the battery in 2009 and the charging system has never given any trouble. I installed an oil pressure gauge, two weeks ago. The oil pressure is nearly 80psi cold and 70psi at a warm low idle. The reason I replaced the muffler was because-about four yeasrs ago. I tried to crank it up. It wouldn't fire or do anything. Out of curiousity, I checked the oil and noticed it ... morehad water in it. Aparently the water wasn't able to reach the proper pressure like the oil would, to satisfy the pressure switch, so the switch wouldn't allow the unit to fire. I walked away from it for a few hours, to let the water settle back down and then I drained all of the water out. I then turned the engine over, with the ignition switch off for a while, so that the oil pump would prime and the engine would be lubricated with oil. I then drained the rest of the old oil out, and replaced it, and the oil filter. After all that, the unit immiediatly cranked up like it always had. I've put over 70 hours on it since then. This welder came with a F250 I bought about five years ago. I thought it was too big for the short bed F250 so I took it out and replaced it with a smaller gasoline air cooled lincoln 250 welder. I put the SA200 on the pad outside of my shop and it has been the primary shop welder for the last five years. I've got a SA250 diesel welder that isn't in nearly as good a shape as this one is but it will do fine for what little bit of welding I do. This SA200 would be a great machine for a contractor. It is larger than#10 and smaller than#6. I have used it with my Lincoln 225 for years. It has been stored inside out of the sun for all the time I have owned it. I believe that you use it to weld metals, by putting some sort of metal pin into the black circle(behind the tinted"window" and creating an arc with the handpiece shown. This unit prevents all of the welders from drawing power at the same time which could overload your electrical system and/or spike your demand subsequently increasing your power rates. This was removed from a working facility when the the owners retired and sold the building. I was told by the owners that the unit was brand new when due to health reasons; they retired and closed the business a few years back. They paid close to $2k for it. It has been sitting on a shelf since. It is untested and subsequently being sold as is. Door lock was drilled out in order to disconnect and remove from wall(didn't find the key at the time) lock is standard and replaceable.
