Here is a tested. Working HP 432A analog power meter with the 10 MHz-18 GHz power head(HP8478A)25 to +10 dBm) and cable, I show the unit responding to power at 1 GHz, from my HP8665 synthesizer. It agrees to 1/2 dB(my synth may be off! These are considered the bench standard for microwave power measurement, as the thermistor heads are more accurate than the HP 8481A thermocouple and any diode type head over this frequency range.
