This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they didn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. This powerful oscilloscope has a 1 GHz bandwidth(350 ps rise time. With 10 ps time resolution) and a nice color screen. Has two channels, and two additional exte rnal trigger inputs. It has many useful features. Such as variable/infinite persistence, sophisticated logic triggering modes, lots of automatic measurements, and the ability to display one channel versus the other. It also has a modular input/probe preamplifier scheme that uses plugins for different applications such as high-speed active probes. This one comes with 3 general-purpose 50 ohm input pods. As with all HP instruments, the use/repairs manuals for this can be downloaded free from Agilent or from other websites. I have checked out the functions of the scope pretty extensively. And everything works well. It has not been calibrated for a while but does not seem to be way off ... morefor anything I would use it for. It passes all of its self tests(see photos) The colors came out a bit flat in the photos(the blue trace looks very similar to the gray background grid) but in person they are bright and vibrant. You can customize the colors infinitely for all aspects of the display- could have a white background or something if you want. There are various scratches on the case, a small dent in the front panel below the input pods, and the knob is a replacement. The new knob works well as a replacement. It shows some signs of age and is out of calibration. It is missing the knob covers for the intensity. Focus, and scale illumination knobs. All other knobs and switches are present. When we first tested this model it was producing 2 images for each source.we managed to get this to go away however it still occasionally produces multiple waveform images on its screen when there should only be one. After it warmed up it started doing a better at reproducing our waveform from the input. I used& loved this Tektronix 475 scope for years. It always worked well. But recently I've purchased a fancy Agilent digital scope. So it's finally time to find this old Tek475 a new home. Here is a used HP 54602B Oscilloscpe. It is in good used condition. No major marks or damages. Some natural wear from use and storage. A couple of spots of tape residue from old calibration stickers and asset tags. Powers on. Functions respond. Shell shows some cosmetic wear, however nothing major. Please see photos for details. Does not include any accessories. We tested all 4 channels of this Oscilloscope with a Wavetek Model 187 Signal Generator. Unit was able to correctly process and display the signals output by the generator. We were also able to get it to display more than one signal at a time and it was able to perform all the math and measurement functions we asked it to do. Velleman PCSGU250"PC-Lab 2000 LT" TEST& CONFIRMED WORKING. I did some testing today to make sure it works and it does! Channel#1. 2 and signal generator tested OK. I tested time and frequency domain by looping back a 50kHz sine-wave using a 1:1 BNC cable. Both tested fine, I double checked and they look fine on my Agilent scope as well. I have used the Bode feature before and it is really useful. This was an awesome scope for my undergraduate Electrical Engineer courses. It is great for projects and jobs too; surprisingly capable. Downloading data to csv is pretty easy too. To my knowledge includes everything it came with originally(see photos) except box. If it came with a CD. Up for auction is a Tektronix 100MHz oscilloscope model 2245A. This is a 4-channel scope and as can be seen in the pictures all 4 channels work. The auction includes a Tektronix probe and a new power cord. The scope has acquired a few small scratches over the years but no ugly dents. Cracks or broken/missing knobs. Both the top and second down square trace is from my ancient, and far from perfect, homemade function generator, the sine wave is from the signal generator and the very nice clean bottom square wave is from the oscilloscope onboard calibration signal. The home made function generator, signal generator, cables and connectors are not included in the auction.
