On the back it is marked R S Swavely June 1968 Astig and this is engraved intot he metal on the bottom of the case as well(we are thinking this was the owner at one point) Can't see any reason for it to not work but as with anything electrical and old, we suggest you have it checked by a professional electrician for safety. The cord looks fine, no wierd smells or anything when running, just a nice looking machine that someone obviously took good care of. All the knobs look great, no cracks or anything that I can see and they all appear to move properly. The screen has no cracks either. The scope is in good working order however it may need to be calibrated. This is the delux model that comes with a built in multimeter. It comes with the power cord. The lead set for the meter and 2 test lead sets. The only issue I found with it is that the plastic cover that goes over the fuse will fall down when the power cord is removed. It's normal for it to slide down so you can change the fuse however it's supposed to stay up and doesn't, not a big deal, just had to mention it. It's guaranteed to be as described. Recently removed from storage, this scope was dusted off, and then minimally tested. Offered today is this LEADER brand oscilloscope. Model LBO-310A. Limited testing was performed, and consisted of inputting sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth signals at 1volt peak to peak, 1 KHz, and then observing the displayed waveforms. See the images above for details regarding the condition of the scope. The oscilloscope measures 12" deep, 7" high, and 5" wide. The LBO-310A offers sufficient bandwidth. The Tektronix 453 is a portable 50MHz dual-trace oscilloscope and produced until the mid-1970's. Initial versions had Nuvistor tubes in the front end as cathode-follower voltage buffers. Later versions used FETs for the same purpose. The vertical amplifier that drives the CRT deflection plates is a cascoded differential amplifier made of NPN transistors. Triggering uses. With a trigger preamplifier preceding the actual trigger circuit. The 453 is almost entirely solid-state, even in its first version. The only tubes other than the CRT are the HV rectifiers and a few Nuvistor triode tubes. Each horizontal deflection plate is driven by a common-emitter amplifier with feedback. This high quality scope from LeCroy looks to be in excellent working condition, powering up as it should, with the screen bold and clear. Up for auction is this Vintage Heathkit Oscilloscope Model 10-18. I do not know how to test this. I did plug it in and it did power on. The tubes heated up and the green power light came on. There was no light on in the screen. There is a very small dent on the top of this unit by the handle. There are pictures of this so look closely.
