Vertical sensitivity goes down to 5mV/div. Horizontal sweep goes to 2ns/div(10X) Unit has all kinds of sweep and trigger modes. Total weight is about 24 pounds. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" so it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. Extra time was taken to research and purchase the correct genuine Tektronix test probes and instruction manual that are best compatiable with the Tektronix 465B. Those items are available in my other auctions. Also check our other auctions for an excellent B& K Signal Generator Model E-200D. It has not been used either. SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping. Light-weight, dual-channel, 60 MHz instruments that features a bright, sharply defined trace on an 80 by 100mm cathode-ray tube(CRT) Its vertical system provides calibrated deflection factors from 2 mV per division to 10 V per division. Tektronix 5440 Oscilloscope 50 MHz 6 channel delayed sweep very clean WORKING!
This 5440 50 MHz Oscilloscope is CLEAN! This unit is cooled by a non-filtered fan. Yet there is no dust anywhere in the oscilloscope. The circuit boards are clean, and the components are shiny! It appears that the mainframe has had little run time. The plug-ins are not original to the scope, but you'll get the best units from my inventory. They are in nice condition. Only the time base has buttons that have yellowed with age. The scope comes with a 5A48 Dual Trace Amplifier, which gives you two channels with a bandwidth of 50 MHz, and a 5A14N which gives you 4 more channels at 1 MHz. The 5B42 is a delaying time base that also runs at 50 MHz. So there are 2 channels at 50 MHz, and 4 channels at 1 MHz, a total of 6 channels. In the pictures, you will see how it displays a 1 MHz signal(from a tired Heathkit RF generator! The exterior is ... morealso clean, with only minor paint nicks and rubs on the edges.
