This laser was parted from an experimental apparatus where it was used to pump a dye laser and is offered as operational. With the unit powered& the interlock defeated via a jumper wire. Fluorescence from the pulsed UV output is displayed on a white sheet of paper. The ambient light is from a sodium vapor lamp; the laser output displayed on the paper is a relatively bright blue dot- see photos. The variable pulse rate control settings are consistent with the observed laser output. However, the laser was not tested with an external trigger signal. The unit appears not to have been opened.
