Up for auction is a Sonicor Rectifier Model 12-25. I discovered this item in a storage unit I purchased at a public auction so I have no historical information about it and to be quite honest. I actually have no idea what purpose it is used for. I have taken several photos of this item for you viewing. I can tell you that it is somewhat dirty from being in storage and that I did plug it in. I turned on the off/on switch and it lighted up the button. The square off/on switch seems to stick a little but does turn on/off. there was no movement on the gauges in front when I turned it on until I hit the reset button and the one gauge moved(as seen in the photos. This rectifier weighs about 25 pounds. As stated I have no knowledge of how to work it so I am not able to sell it as a working item. I've made all the power connections banana connectors for flawless use with most chargers. I've installed preload resistors in this power supply so it can operate safely with no load or little load indefinitely. This supply can provide 12V at 14A, 12V at 0.8A, 5V at 25A and 3.3V at 18A. You can generally use any combination of voltages to make others, for example use the 12V and-12V to make 24V. One note on that, most PC power supplies do not tolerate using 5V and 3.3V in the same circuit like the others and it may kick in the short circuit protection. When applying a load to this power supply if the load is too high when you plug the connector in the power supply will trigger ... moreit's surge protection and shut down.
