The photos show an output of 143V into a 500-ohm load. There is no change in voltage when the load is removed. Or when the AC is varied, so this unit is regulating. The problem is that the voltage cannot be adjusted above 143V. Included in this auction is an original service manual, in which are instructions for troubleshooting low voltage. Rear Connectors allow alternate trace trigger-signal inputs, push-pull outputs are available on the front as well as the rear. A squarewave calibration voltage is available on the front panel. was introduced in 1958. It is a rack-mount unit with a power supply that resembles the power supply of an early 500-series oscilloscope: a 50/60Hz transformer, selenium rectifiers, a single voltage reference tube controlling all output voltages, and 6080 pass tubes for the regulated outputs.
