These E3631A are in good condition. I have cleaned these units inside and out. There may be scratches or minor flaws but nothing that I deemed to seriously detract from the units overall value. They have 3 outputs. One is up to 6 volts at up to 5 amps, the other two are plus and minus up to 25 volts capable of sourcing up to 1 amp. They feature GPIB communication, has OVP and OCP. They are really nice versatile lab supplies. They are guaranteed to perform as they did when they were produced. They have been completely tested, including GPIB. They do not have any firmware upgrades. What this means is that the older HP units work perfectly with the outputs turned on; but when the outputs are turned off there is about.3Vdc on the Negative 25Vdc output terminals and there is about(3Vdc on the Positive 25Vdc and 6Vdc output terminals. I do not have much of any information of how long I have had this power supply or where I acquired it from. The connection terminals do not have any solder residue on them from previous connections. So all I can say it that I have not used or tested this power supply in any way. This has been in my possession for a while, as there is a layer of dust and light dirt deposited on it from being stored inside of a warehouse for an amount of time. All of the components on the PC board and the connections of the components and all of the wires look to be in great shape. The transformer installed a PACIFIC TRANSFORMER 101028 E. Phone Number(714) 779-0450 and is dated"OCTOBER ... more1992" There are no burn marks or heat marks, from use, on the top, or sides of this transformer. The Phillips brand capacitor is great shape with no burn marks. Bulging, or holes from the material leaking out of the case of this capacitor. All the connected wires are in great shape also. On the bottom of the case and on the front of it. None of the mounting holes have any marks on them. It looks like this power supply has never been mounted in any place in a fixed position. Like I stated above. There is a layer of dust, light dirt on all of the surfaces of the components on this power supply. This all seems to be from being left out in the storage warehouse for some amount of time. I can only list this power supply as used because of the condition of all of the dust and light dirt on all of the components. Yes it could be cleaned up. But that would not show the age or correct condition of this power supply. There are some very light scratches on the bottom and the front of this power supply.
