It takes a simple power cord to operate(which is not included) I actually took that cord from my guitar amp to power it up, so it should be fairly easy to find one for it. This is the Canoga-Perkins PR25A Cable test set and analyzer. It is mainly used to measure and find trouble faults in network cable. It is nicknamed The Busyboy meter by those in the trade and it is highly accurate in finding trouble faults in the network cable. This meter is combination of volt/ohm meter and tone sending function. It comes with all 3 test leads and they are in good shape. It probably needs new batteries. So I will leave that up to someone else. It's a good trouble shooting test set highly sot after by M.S.T.S(Maintenance Splicing Technicians) and you know who you are.
