This is a 15mm by 8mm thick Brewster angle prism used to separate the beams of a 1064nm YAG from the concurrent 532nm beam. This was originally to be used in some sort of very expensive DPSS type laser. The dot indicates the coated side that faces the laser source. These prisms are highly refractive and easily used to separate other light sources too. They work well for separating the laser lines of an argon laser or building a spectroscope too. Panel was working when removed. Had a Comtrol EMS controlling it and appeared to work well when tested. Comes as seen with the relays and boards installed. There are some X's drawn on 3 of the control buttons on the bottom of the unit as well as dots on 4 others. I do not know what these were meant to signify. We did not test each component of the Watt stopper panel. Just that it turned off/on the lights when the Comtrol called for it. In all of our tests the panel worked fine. Unit is quite heavy and will ship however it will be quite high. I am estimating it at $150 shipping to the lower 48 states. Pick up will be free in Newark. California. We do NOT have the camera/ Imager that these lenses came from and we are not very knowledgeable about optics or optical systems. The Breault Research Organization in 1989/ 1990 fabricated these lens assemblies probably for the Hughes Aircraft Company(Now Raytheon) and all referenced as S/N# 1541. The box for the longest lens in the attached photos in marked Pyris F/6 diverger and we believe the lens material is ZeSn(Zinc Selenide) and that it may be utilized in the 2um– 20um wavelength range. The box for the next longest lens in the attached photos is marked Pyris F/2 diverger ... moreand we believe the lens material is ZeSn(Zinc Selenide) and that it may be utilized in the 2um– 20um wavelength range. The box for the last(shortest) lens in the attached photos is marked Pyris F/0.7 diverger and we believe the lens material is Ge(Germanium) and that it may be utilized in the 2um– 12um wavelength range. The buyer will still have to clean a little residual pieces of foam debris from some of the lens assemblies(hence my conservative condition rating) The mounting system is very straightforward so it looks like these can be easily adapted to various optical systems.
