Lotos lt5000d plasma Cutter - Intermittant cut... may be an easy fix.
2 year old Lotos LT5000D non pilot arc plasma cutter. These go for over 400 new. This unit ran perfect until a couple weeks ago when it would start a cut and then just loose arc. I contacted Lotos and they said they thought it might be the torch. I had a project that had a tight time table. I had to buy another unit and now my wife says I can only have one! If it's the torch. Then for around 50 bucks you'll have a good unit. The unit powers up and air portion works. You get everyting minus the electrial plug and air fitting. I've listed this item as"parts" thought I really think between a possible torch replacement and LOTOS customer service. the winner of this will get a great deal. On my end. happy wife = happy life! This is a nice used Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38 Plasma Cutter. This is a working unit. I needed a bigger plasma cutter so now I am selling this one. Cuts 3/8" Genuine. Cuts 1/2" Maximum, Cuts 5/8" Severance. Has a newer Thermal Dynamics SL60 Torch. I used this on a CNC Table and had the ground bolted onto the CNC Table. So you will need a new grounding clamp, they are only around $5 for one. You can use this on 120V or 230V power. It comes with the 120V Plugin, if you want 230V just put a 230V Plugin on the end of the power cord.
