Of these ancient computers- so I was actually able to read and. Understand the HP-BASIC code Un-lucky for me- it was all. In German! So. I reverse engineered the 488 bus commands, and re-wrote a pick and place control program in VB6(Yes. I am a bit of a Dinosaur) The code is cool- and will allow the user to use board fiducials. We bought this machine to run about 150 boards through an extended prototype run. It has placed about 30.000 components and has approximately 60 hours of operational time on it(no hour meter, my estimate) It has worked well for us, and allowed us the flexibility we needed for a short run testing environment. We are now moving to higher volume production and will be having a board house assemble our boards. Features Include: Auto Nozzle Changer Computer(keyboard+mouse.
