BTU VIP70 Reflow Oven SMT PCB 2001 Machine!
BTU model VIP70N s/n NHA-3. Shipment date 01/01. Machine came out of a local Albuquerque electronics company until they got a bigger. Better, faster one. It was functioning until they decommissioned it approx 2-3 months ago. It will run on either shop air or inert gas(nitrogen) and electricity. The system is complete with the computer. Software(wincon) and all manuals. Physically about 4' x 12' long. Weight 3000lb. The water pump and pump motor for the cooling systems are brand new replacements installed just before the machine was shut down. The rail system was modified(can be reversed) from the owner: the oven was designed with a hanging rack to support the movable rail. Unfortunately. The rack would bind when we would try to modify the rail spacing(it would always break loose, but only after exerting a bending stress on the rail) ... moreWe took the hanging rack off and placed a piece of angled steel on top of the rack rail to prevent warpage. The original hanging rack components will be sold with the oven. Other than the rail issue, the oven has given us very little trouble. ============= The photos show the machine set up and running at the previous owners facility. Machine is now in storage. This washer has an issue and we gave up trying to figure it out. Theres a communication error between the continuity controller and the temp controller. We sent both controllers out and both tested in good working order but theres still a communication error. The temp reads correctly but the main controller is getting the wrong info. USED Hot Air Reflow SMD Rework Station from NU-Concept. HART 200 A provides a hot air to both the top and bottom on the PCB at the same time. Two stainless steel tubes. One on the top and one on the bottom, can be independently positioned to deliver the hot air to the exact spot on the PCB. The temperature of each hot air flow is also independently adjusted so no overheating or scorching of the pcb will occur. Eithe tube can be fitted with an air choke(see the pictures showing round plates with different aperture shapes in the center) to accomodate for the shape and size of a components. The chokes can be removed completely and this will allow for heating of broad area of the PCB. The AC motor delivers constant flow of the air to both sides of the PCB but you can retract one of the tubes and direct the air flow just to one side. After the ... moreparts on the PCB are removed or replaced. The toggle switch allows to change to the cooling mode and gradually lower the temperature of the PCB to avoid thermal stress and mechanical deformation of the PCB and prevent cracks of the solder joints. The PCB is firmly positioned in a special holder and can be easily moved while working on several components at the time. Even a very large PCB can be mounted in the holder. The simple user instruction is printed on the plate located at the base and will help to set up the right temperature if the operator is not familiar with the process. However. The machine is very easy and intuitive to use and require only the basic knowledge of the reflow process. There is only one toggle. 3-position switch labeled OFF-COLD-HOT and two potentiometers for the temperature adjustment. That's it! This is a very solid and heavy machine built to the old USA standards. Where things were designed and built to last. It can take a lot of abuse and will still work just as fine as it was new.
