This is a used Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounter/Meter. It looks nice. The part where you turn the unit on is not there anymore. Battery compartment is clean and it Comes with the carrying case. I do not have the owner's manual. I have tested the meter to make sure it turns on and it does. The unit has an auto shut-off feature, when not in use, it will turn off in approximately 5 minutes. I am not sure if the tester works properly other than that. I will give a 14 day warranty and if it doesn't work you can call me directly at 972-264-7933 and I will refund the money back, once I receive the unit back and I will also pay for return shipping. Timber Creek Wood Moisture Meter
I bought it at Lee Valley Tools in Canada. A workhorse as a moisture meter. It is hard-wired for invariable accuracy as opposed to using a potentiometer, which is subject to eventual wear and variability in readings. The wired circuits are for 6% or under) 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 18, 22, and 25% or over. The range of possible error of ±0.5% in the 6 to 11% range increases to 1% and 2% in the higher ranges. This gives you the accuracy where you need it, in the lower moisture range. Temperature stable(readings are within a 1% band over a 90°F temperature change) the circuitry is also coated to protect against moisture, oxidation, corrosion, etc. The sensing pins are fixed in a 3/8" thick end plug for durability.
