Tektronix 422 dual channel 15 MHz Oscilloscope working fine
Here is the Tektronix 422 dual channel 15 MHz analog oscilloscope as located at a local sale and confirmed to be in fine working condition. While it's been about 50 years since my last use of these. My testing convinces me that it works fine. The photos show use of the two probes, a P6105 and a P-6106 probe, each 10X, 10 megohm and each hooked to the 2 volt calibration port. Sweep, trigger, positioning, and voltage ranges work as expected. The display focus, astigmatism, and scale illumination work, and the intensity has great range suggesting a CRT with lots of remaining life. The case has seen a lot of life. But the handle is strong and the case has no corrosion or dents, but an old sticker is on the top, and generally all is in need of a cleanup. The front storage compartment has lost its cushioning but is still useful and contains, ... morein addition to the two probes, a P-6028 probe and a few additional items. A Google search turned up the a manual.pdf available at no cost. I'll pass along the link to the winner. This is a fine analog scope. Still useful for many applications. The oscilloscope weighs about 22 lbs. unpacked. It will be safely packed and quickly sent by FedEx Ground. I charge only the expected shipping cost with insurance. Fluke 97 Dual Channel 50Mhz Scopemeter / Oscilloscope WITH Probes
I bought this scope new and used it in my automotive shop environment. It is used and shows some signs of wear. The screen has some normal usage scratches. All of the functions work as they are supposed to at least they did when I last used them. The buttons show hardly any wear. This scope worked flawlessly during the time it was in service for me. I cannot guarantee that there are no problems but I do not believe there is anything wrong with this scope besides those things mentioned below. This is an awesome scope, if I still needed a 2 channel O-scope I would be keeping it! Included- Fluke 97 2 channel Oscilloscope and shock resistant case. Very Good Condition This oscilloscope has been gently used in a clean. Dry environment. To the best of my knowledge all functions are working. I've never found any issues. It was treated as a respected piece of test equipment and the few cosmetic imperfections are very minor. This scope was professionally calibrated some years ago and has seen light use since. This unit is in good used conditions with just some light scuffs and scratches. We do not have the ability to fully test the unit. The channel two connection had a red circle around it but I did get a signal from it. The unit passed its self test and all of the knobs are working. One of the buttons is missing under the display screen. But it can be selected with a small pointy object(pen, paper clip, etc) I am confident that this oscilloscope will need to be calibrated as the calibration seals have been compromised. Up for auction is a vintage Telequipment type D53a Dual Channel Oscilloscope. This scope was made around 1969 and has 14 tubes and many transistors. It utilizes plug in modules and an innovative design. I powered this unit up and it produced a display on the screen. But it was fuzzy. I ran the unit for one hour and it seemed to basically work. I'm sure it will need some repair, it looks very easy to work on, the modules just pull out and the manuals are available online. To not ruin collector value I made no effort to clean this unit up other than wiping off the dust from storage. This scope powers up and I was able to get both traces to show up! That's about all I can do as far as testing this though. So I can only guarantee that it will power up and if you turn the right knobs- you can get both lines on the screen. It does have a lot of scratches& scuffs and a small dent or two but nothing major. This Scope includes the original 2 Hitachi Oscilloscope Probes in their packaging. AT-10AR, R/C Input 10 M Ohm/ 19.5 pFarads, ATT Ratio 1/10. This is a good instrument to diagnose electrical circuit/ experiment problems or to locate a bad component in an amplifier. Stereo, radio, etc since you can actually"see" how a particular component is working, not working well, or simply not working at all. And it helps to be able to see two channels at once so you can compare signals, such as input and output. For example in an amplifier circuit you can look at the input and work backwards from the output to see where the fault lies.
