Genrad 1656 Impedance Bridge. In working condition as far as I can tell. All knobs/sliders work and affect the null. The second picture shows it nulling a 10uF electrolytic cap. Then a picture of the cap. The fourth picture is of the inductance of the primary of a wall wart transformer, shown as measured at 5.8H. Last cal was in 1982. Has a Digital Corporation asset sticker as well. The insides look clean, tho there is some corrosion on the negative end connector of the 5 D cell tube. The tube itself is corrosion damaged and split(see picture) and it is missing one slider button on the last digit of the value indicator, and one rubber foot. Case/paint is generally in good condition. I also have an operator's manual and a schematic that I found on the internet that I will include. This is a Heathkit IB-5281 RLC Bridge which will measure resistance from 10 ohms to 10 megohms. Capacitance from 10 pF to 10 uF, and inductance from 10 uH to 10 Henries. It can also be used to measure how well matched two components are. The bridge is in very good physical and working condition. I measured some precision components and found resistance measurements to be within about 5% and inductance and capacitance within about 10% The bridge uses two 9V batteries(included) I don't have a printed manual. Capacitance, inductance, dissipation and quality factor over a very wide range: 1 milliohm to 11 megaohm for resistance, 1 picofarad to 1100 microfard for capacitance and 1 microhenry to 1100 Henry for inductance. Accuracy better than 1% was given for R, C and L.
