pre-owned MSA hard hat in general average good used condition. the hat has some light cosmetic wear on the outside of it& a tiny 1/4 inch or so indent mark on the top of it. nothing that would detract from its look or its functionality. comes with its suspension liner inside. the thin cloth or foam lining on the inside backside of the brim of the liner is no longer there. if that matters to you then you may need to get a replacement liner. the rubber part of the liner that would be against your forehead seems to be ok if you want to make due with it as it is. label inside says'adjustable head size 6 1/2 to 7 3/4. the hat is clean. not sure what it is made of but not metal. if you have any questions at all please email me before you bid& buy as i'm not an authority on hard hats. Used Hard Hat USS U.S. Steel Mon Valley Works Mill Vintage MSA Medium 1986
This is a vintage 1986 hard hat from U.S. Steel's Mon Valley Works. Made by local favorite MSA. It is the V-Guard model, size medium. This doesn't look like it spent much time in the mill as there are only a couple of light scuffs to the shell. The emblem has some creases from when it was applied. The foam on the interior is deteriorating and flaking a bit, as to be expected from 28 year old material. Offered as-shown without reserve, this Mon Valley Works hard hat ships via Parcel Select.

The only marking that I see on this is on the liner with the letters MSA.
