Rotary Hoe 7 ft Lawn Aerator
This auction is for a used 7 ft. Rotary Hoe in excellent working condition. And it is field ready. I used this rotary hoe last year on my farm, and it worked flawlessly. I am selling it because I no longer has aspirations of doing large scale vegetable farming. There are 4 sections to this rotary hoe, and each section contains 7 wheels with teeth. There are NO teeth missing, and all the teeth appear intact. There are 8 bushing type bearings with grease fittings, and all the bearings spin easily. If you keep these bearings greased, they will last a lifetime. The rotary hoe hooks to a standard 3 pt hitch, which appears to have been added on to the original rotary hoe. The 3 pt hitch is very solid. The original hitch was likely a pull type hitch, and the attachment brackets are still there if you want to make a drawbar type hitch. I think this ... moreis a John Deere rotary hoe, because it is painted John Deere green, and it looks similar to a John Deere model I saw listed- but I cannot confirm this because there is no lettering or stamps on the rotary hoe. There is some surface rust on it, but I did not want to paint it, because I am not trying to hide any flaws. The rotary hoe is hinged in the center for uneven ground. This auction is for a complete John Deere gear box used on certain Deere rotary cutters. The part number is AW34338. It is used on Deere MX8 rotary cutters with serial numbers above 015000(both outer right and left hand gear boxes) and on Deere MX15 rotary cutters(outer left hand wing) This gear box was purchased in error by a customer for a Deere MX10 rotary cutter. Up for auction are 2 very nice. Used original( JOHN DEERE) and complete Antique 2 row planter corn/seed metal hoppers boxes for a John Deere; 290, 490 planter? I think but no sure so look at the pictures) There are many extra parts,2 cast iron Bottom seed plate(ones with the 3 arms coming out from the center, has the number(SMALL, S-829) embossed on the the one arm- 2 cast iron Bottom seed plate, has the number(H695B) embossed on it and also stamped with the number 9-1 on it-2 cast iron Bottom seed plate, has the number(H694B) embossed on it and also stamped with the number 9-2 on it.2 White plastic Bottom seed plate,someone wrote the number(H697) on it and has(B6) embossed on it also.2 green Lustran plastic Bottom seed plate and has the(B12-16) embossed on it.2 aluminum seed driver plate embossed with part# B28725) on them.Also has the Depth ... moresetting hardware.Cast iron hinged Bottom seed plate. Also has all the seed kicker parts.Seed plate weight shield and rod with the yellow metal cap that stick up through the hopper top. Everything included in this auction is in very good condition and have many year of use left in them. Ready to use or in great condition to restore your old 2 row corn/seed planter back to it original condition. please view all the pictures to help show it condition! The 2 sheet metal seed Hoppers and lid are very solid and fairly clear for their age some surface rust and light pitting but NO rust holes or dents. the cast iron bottom parts does have pitting on the outside mostly. the cast iron seed plate have some surface rust.there is no cracks or repairs on the lid or bottom seed plate or any other pieces. There is 1 spring that is broke and the other spring is weak and near ready to break(see picture) Hopper measures about 10 inches across and 14 inches tall.
