It is a great tractor and it has never let us down or caused us any real issue. We are selling it to get a skid steer instead. Everything functions as it should. 1660 Hours. The only quirks with the machine are: 1. It periodically shows code 6. The dealer told me it is probably a poor connection at the speed sensor and that if it were a problem the machine would go into limp mode. Which it does not. 2. There is one weld repair on the lift arm for the 3 point hitch. Not a problem. But it is there. 3. There is a spot where someone removed a decal and the paint is poorly touched up. 4. The fuel door cover is missing. 5. The front tires are foam filled. ... moreAnd one of them is missing a chunk on the edge about the size of a golf ball. 6. Loader pins and bushing have some wear. Not a problem, but not new either. The machine is awesome. Doesn't use any oil between service, has great power, and operates well. It comes with the 300CX Loader. The loader works well. Up for sale is my 690D John Deere Excavator. I have had this machine for about two years and used it loading topsoil and shale. When I purchased it. The hydraulic pump was weak but the overall machine was in very good shape. This summer, I removed the hydraulic pump, removed the tank, flushed the system, and installed a genuine Linde remanufactured pump, replaced all the filters, changed several hydraulic hoses and refilled the system with about 96 gallon of HyGard. This machine now works exactly as it should! This was a $6000.00 project! Here are details: 1. The unit now has approximately 5173 hours and is in continued use. As far as I can tell. These are original hours. The engine has no sign of ever being disassembled. 2. The undercarriage is in great shape! As you can see by the photos. The sprockets look almost new, the rollers have ... morelittle wear and the track is in very good shape. 3. The cab is totally intact and is in good shape. All the glass in place.with no cracks! It has two joy stick controls with a padded cloth seat as well as two foot controls for the tracks. All the gauges work and the heater will drive you out of the cab. It has a three speed blower. 4. There are absolutely no hydraulic cylinder leaks. They all work well with no issues. The hydraulics are very strong. 5. The joy stick/pilot controls are responsive and work well. There are no issues at all. 6. The engine runs perfectly with absolutely no issues. It is a John Deere 6-414T 125 hp. It is very easy to start and has plenty of power and even though the machine has start aid. I've never used it. The cooling system/radiator is in good shape and is protected to minus 35 degrees Fahrenheit. The heater hoses will probably need changed before too long. 7. The machine weighs about 39.000 lbs. and will need to be transported by a low boy trailer. It can be transported by certain 20 ton tag-alongs for short distances. Up for sale this fine early winters' day. A John Deere 270LC excavator. 10,925 hours on a working meter. Has a nice hydraulic thumb. Bucket in very good shape with good teeth. Boom and stick tight for age, bucket has a little play but probably still better than average. Thumb pins have a fair amount of play. Unit starts, runs, and functions well. Cab is reasonably clean, good seat and good glass all around. Interior could use a cleaning but not bad. Body looks good for age, not all hammered up. I did have not seen or noticed any noticeable leaks other than very minor normal seepage, nothing running out, no puddles. Tracks as follows: pads good shape, chains appear to have plenty of meat left on them, sprockets should be replaced soon though, getting a little sharp. Pins not worn through, still good wear left there. One side appears to ... morebe a bit slack, may need an adjuster rebuilt. Other stays tight and looked to have room to tighten some more. That being said, unit tracks and turns good. Finals pull good and even. I did notice the two speed does not seem to work. Good machine at a fraction on the cost of new, priced to sell at $45,000 or make an offer, will give serious consideration to a good offer if machine is paid and moved before December 30!
