I got this vintage Weston DC Volt Meter with a large lot of vintage gauges and test equipment I recently purchased from the estate of a long time'Ham' radio guy. It is Weston model 430. P/N 7345 and measures low voltage DC volts. The meter's range is 0 to.5 volts. This meter has a bakelite case and I believe it dates to the 1940's, possibly earlier. It is 6" high to the top of the terminals X 5" wide X 3 1/2" deep. It has a still useable leather carry strap and feet on both the bottom and back. This is a rare 1920s residential energy meter circa that was made into a light and mounted in a beautiful glass dome. It stands about 15 inches high. It is in good cosmetic shape but the meter may show minor signs of cosmetic wear from being out in the elements. It is fully operational and still works great! Vintage General Electric Wattage Meter Tester-Unique- Must See! This old G.E. wattage tester is in really nice shape. From what I was told it was used by a sales rep to show the lower wattage usage of the new General Electric products compared to older or competitor's examples. It makes sense since there is 2 inputs and a switch to show the wattage each is putting out. But I'm not sure that is what it was used for. It does have a nice wood grained case and a hefty handle. It has been tested and does work. I tested a 100 watt bulb in a table lamp which show the results in the one photo. I also tested the same lamp and bulb with a new tester and it showed 99 watts(but the new tester did not break it down to tenths of a watt) The tester weighs almost 18 pounds and measures 13" x 9"x 9" The case does have a few marks on ... moreit which may or may not polish out.
