Up for auction is these(4) used Metal Iron Industrial Swivel Casters. The swivel casters are in very good condition and all work fine and were taking off a heavy duty industrial office copier that was scraped. Measurements are: Mounting plates are 4- inches by 3-1/4 inches wide and heavy in weight. Wheels are 3 inches in diameter and i believe to be heavy duty polyurethane or hard rubber wheels. Overall height is 4- 1/4 inches on 3 of the casters and 5-1/4 inches on the taller caster. The taller caster was mounted deeper in the unit they came off of but all 4 casters roll evenly. Here is a great set of industrial. Very heavy duty application, cast iron casters. The wheels themselves are cast iron, 6" in diameter, and 2" wide. They are each mounted on a swivel plate, the plate measures 5 1/2" x 5" Each caster stands about 7 1/2" in height. I can see Bassick 6 on each caster, and it also looks like the number 8261 is imprinted on the wheels. These casters are definitely for a heavy duty application. Each caster weighs 11 lbs. As can be seen in the pictures, there are scratches in the gold finish on each caster, all in the same places, but this, in no ways, impacts the function of these casters. There is also a bit of rust in some areas, but once again there is no impact on performance. All of the casters move freely on the attached swivel plates. Heavy Duty 5" Industrial Casters- Bassick and JJ Markings- 2 of Each These casters are used but absolutely not abused. The wheels spin freely. The brakes lock, the swivels turn great. They do have grease fittings and it does not look like they were ever greased. There is not oozing grease anywhere. The diameters are 5" and the thickness are 2" on all four casters. The wheels do show some wear but no holes or gouges. They look like they had rolled on smooth concrete, not like asphalt or rocky surfaces. The mounting plates measure 4 1/2" X 4" X 3/16" thick. They weigh in at 5 1/2 pounds each. This is a 22 pound shipment. Now. There is one caster that says"Bassick Kaspar, one caster says, Bassick SW" and two casters that have a"JJ" stamped on them. You are bidding on an older, heavy duty set of Noelting-Faultless Casters. The balls and wheels measure about 2" across and seem to be made of heavy duty rubber. Aside from dirt and general wear. They seem to be in nice shape. The tops are covered(hooded) and have ball-bearing type swivels that all move easily. The casters themselves also move with ease. These apparently were made in Evansville, Indiana, and I guess they are older. I picked them up in a box of stuff at an antiques auction. Two are"ball" type and two are"wheel" type. They were together when I got them. I assume they are a set that went to something with differing casters on the front and back. I am not positive. You get what you see. For your consideration is this lot of four all steel spoked wheel heavy duty casters. Each of the casters revolves freely and the wheels rotate freely as well. Each wheel diameter is about 4 inches and the tread width is about 1 3/4 inches. The overall height of each caster is about 5 1/2 inches. Each caster has a thick mounting plate with four slotted holes to mount to your particular application. Each caster weighs about 9 pounds.
