For your consideration are these two Albion cast iron swivel caster wheels. I bought these casters at a local farm sale and although the wheels show a little surface rust I think they are new or unused. The wheels are of spoked design with a 5 inch diameter and 2 inch width. The axle through the center of the wheel has a diameter of about 1/2 inch. The swivel mechanism has ball bearings and each wheel has 3 grease zerks for lubrication. Each caster has an overall height of about 6 1/2 inches. The rectangular mounting plate has dimensions of about 4 X 4 1/2 inches. Each caster weighs about 7 1/2 pounds. If you wish to check the Albion website I think you will agree that these casters have a load carrying capacity of about 1000 pounds each. 4 is a set and is heavy duty toolbox caster wheels. Removed from 1940"s Snap On roll-a-bench toolbox, each swivel and is max of 5.25 in height. Each is as is with dirt as these were just taken from a 1940"s Snap On roll-a-bench toolbox. The rubber part on each caster will roll but I would say that the rubber on each need replacing at some point. The other 2 toolbox caster wheels is 5 inch. The max height of one is 6.25 and the other is 6 inches. One is swivel and one ridged. both of these is in Good condition. This lot is for five casters by Sheppherd. Four of them are vintage brass with screw type pegs. And the last one is a newer one(also by Sheppherd) with a straight peg. They all roll smoothly, but the vintage ones have patina to them. They each measure 2 1/2" ball and 3 1/2" tall. The vintage ones have 1" tall pegs being 1/4" wide. And the new one is 1 1/2" and is 1/4" wide. The new one has a black marker mark on it. Ask questions if you have them.
