4 VINTAGE 4 1/4'' CURRIE MFG. CO. SWIVEL CAST IRON CART WHEELS
Up for auction are this set of 4 cast iron swivel machine age cart wheels. 3 are marked CURRIE 1 is unmarked on the bottom. But is the same size height and width which is 1 1/2' They all came from the same estate.There is some rust and pitting.They could use a cleaning there is some grease and oil.The unmarked does not have bearings I don't know if it did originally or not, but it seems to be in good working order. 4 Vintage Swivel Casters Noelting Faultless Steel Hooded Ball Grip Neck Stem
This auction is for a set of Four Vintage Swivel Casters. The model is Hooded Ball, the neck is Grip Neck each caster measures nearly 4" tall, the ball-bearing swivel is about 1" in diameter. The casing is steel(holds a magnet when applied) not sure what the ball is made of, maybe hard rubber, does not seem to be Bakelite. Each ball is stamped Noelting-Faultless Evansville, Ind. PAT. PENDING, 9C, each caster has a different number letter combination.

This is a nice old set of caster wheels. They are made of cast iron. They all match. They are marked with numbers. But will need to be cleaned with degreaser before you can read the numbers. They have grease and grime, but will clean ok. There are no cracks. Each caster weighs approx. 4 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 1/4 inch wide and approx. 3 inches across. The mounting plate measures approx. 4 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This is a very nice heavy duty set. Guaranteed to be old and original. Satisfaction guaranteed. Vintage Lot of 4 Bassick 3 inch heavy duty swivel casters
Here we have a set of four swivel three inch bassick hard rubber caster wheels. They do show surface rust which does not affect function. The mounting plate on one of the wheels is bent in one corner. Just needs a bit more elbow grease to straighten than I have(right on a mounting hole, plate is flt except the edge of the corner) These are very heavy duty and heavy(2 1/2 lbs apiece! not sure what the load rating is, if I had to guess, probably in the 4-500lb range. 4 Large Vintage 6" Cast Iron/Forged Steel Industrial Swivel Caster Wheels Bond
Wheels are 6" x 2" and the whole unit stands 8 1/2" tall. Bases are 7 3/16" x 5 1/2" with the bolt holes being 5 1/2" x 4" center of hole to center of hole with the holes being 9/16" diameter. Mounting plate is 1/2" thick. There is a grease fitting to grease the bearings in the swivel mechanism and another grease fitting to grease the wheel itself. This auction is for a set of 4 vintage cast iron caster wheels. Wheels are approx. 5 1/4" diameter. 1" wide. Base plate is approx. 9" by 2 1/4" approx. 3/8" thick. These are rigid, do not swivel, and are marked Alpine. All are in good usable condition and turn freely. One has a corner broken as shown in picture 8, but is still usable. 4 Antique Vintage Matching Cast Iron Industrial Caster Cart Wheels Pioneer Nice!
This is a nice old set of cast iron caster wheels. They are all solid cast iron including mounting plate. They all match. They are marked Pioneer Elkhart. Ind. H 190 937. There are no cracks or chips. These have not been cleaned, but can be easily cleaned by soaking them in a degreaser for a couple of days, but will leave that to the collector's discretion. They are all heavy made. Each caster weighs 3 3/4 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings. They measure approx. 4 1/4 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. 1 3/8 inch wide and approx. 3 inches across. The mounting plate measures approx. 5 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This is a very nice heavy duty set.
