Here we have a used B&K model 607 solid state tube tester. The case is in nice condition except for what looks like dirt and paint in some spots. I wiped it down. But a good cleaning should make it almost new looking. The inside is very clean, let the pictures be your guide to its condition. Even though one picture shows the unit in use, it is being sold for parts and not working. Tube not included. It should be serviced by a competent technician before you use it. Must See TV-2C/U Tube Tester TV-2 300B KT88 6L6 EL34
This is a very nice Military TV-2C/U tube tester made by Taffet Electronics. The TV-2C/U is the more modern of the TV-2 series and is built like a tank. Switches are tight. Snap into place, and are not worn out. It was purchased direct from the Military. Serial number is 89. I tested this set and it is working as seen from the photos. Notice the 6L6G, KT88, and 6L6 reference tube under a test. All meters are working and are not sticking. The bias, plate, screen, filament, etc, can be adjusted. The 6L6 reference was purchased from Daniel Nelson and tested 42 or 5250 uMohs. Notice the 6L6 reference tube tested 86% This is about 5160 uMohs(6000 x.86) This tester includes spare fuses, a spare lamp, a spare 83 tube, and a spare 6X4W tube. The roll chart works very well. The TV-2C/U uses 2 transformers. One, for the filaments, and one for the plate, ... morescreen, etc. Actually this tester is not hard to use, once you get familiar with all the settings and meters. This will test 4, 5, 6, 7 prong, 7 pin, 9 pin, octal, loctal, acorn, sub min 7, sub min 8, sub min 8 long pin, and transmitting 7 pin tubes. I can email pdf files of the manual and tube settings if desired to the winning bidder. I can also email an excel spreadsheet with over 2400 tube settings. This will test the 300B, KT88 tubes, and thousands more. All filter capacitors have been replaced with new stock. I never drill holes and like to keep the chassis looking original. Tester may need some more checking out, adjusting, etc, due to age. Original setting book is included. I have lots of data on the TV-2 so I can email the winning bidder. Roll chart works and all spare tubes, pilot lights, fuses are included. Case has some dents, scratches, etc. Front panel looks very good. This tube tester works GREAT! It's a Heathkit TC-3 and like the TC-1 and TC-2. This model has been a work horse. This one has been sitting in my ham shack for many years looking a little forlorn. It needs a new happy home! I have included the tubes that I had on hand. I was going to make a spreadsheet and test all of the tubes and after about 10 tests. I gave up on that idea. If you want the tubes, have at them! All 10 of the ones I tested were in good shape but that does not mean all of them are. I suspect most of them are in good working order, though. Vintage HICKOK Model 540 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Radio Amp Stereo
Here's an interesting early HICKOK tube tester model 540. It tests early 4 pin tubes through those of the octal era. I have not done exhaustive testing nor did I evaluate all test settings but the instrument did power on and I was able to test a few tubes. Pictured is a 6F6 under test. The resulting meter deflection appears reasonable but the tube tester has not been recently calibrated. The test meter is contained within a carrying case. The handle is tattered but functional and the tolex-like covering is worn in spots but overall not bad. It measures 14 1/2" x 15 3/4" x 7" not including the handle. This tester is being offered AS IS. FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION.

Nice Jackson 637 tube tester. VOM, noise test and tube chart! Jackson Model 637. This is a very well made tester that incorporates an analog VOM into it's circuit. You can measure voltage. Resistance, and current with a Jackson 637. Banana jacks are provided to connect VOM test leads. And high-impedance headphones to listen in on the tube as it is being tested. Setup procedure is quite similar to a Hickok/Stark tube tester. There are two rows of 11 push buttons on the panel; the top row are to select functions and ranges for the VOM circuit. And the bottom row helps test for shorts, leakage, and the'dynamic' conductance of triodes/tetrodes/pentodes. The headphones are not supplied but easy to find on EBay or else where. It never started smoking or anything like that and the variac transformer that I used has a low amp fuse in it and it did not blow the fuse. And it did not damage the tube. This is one of the best and most versatile tube testers ever made. It does have some discoloration here and there(lighter white in some areas and more yellowish aging in other areas) but it may be possible to get it all cleaned up and looking good. I just don't know how, so I'll leave that up to you. Or use it as it is; it's not that bad overall in my opinion, unless you want near mint, which it is not. Up for your consideration is my beloved Westmore 501/ Triplett 3444 Tube Analyzer. This model of tester Triplett was commissioned to produce for the US Government it is virtually identical to the 3444. Although this particular version has a factory upgrade to the plate current circuit which allows it to test up to 100 ma. This is a True Mutual conductance tester supplying 250 volts on the plate much higher than any of the Hickoks for a more real world test. The unit is perhaps the finest tube tester available or ever produced for the mainstream public. And the beauty of this one is that it has been completely refurbished and upgraded by my friends at C. PHILCO 7050 TUBE TESTER FOR REPAIR
For your consideration is this very old tube tester with tube data. I replaced the power cord because it was brittle. While the thing was apart I forgot to take pictures of the inside but it was clean looking. I cannot get it to work properly still. The pilot lamp works but whenever a short test is done the short lamp glows on the same settings with several tubes. I don't believe all of the tubes are really shorted so I assume this unit needs calibration or repair. Paypal payment due in 3 days from end of auction.

Hickok 6000A Tube Tester Calibrated& Excellent Condition& All Specs Perfect* Hickok 6000A Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Excellent Condition Information including the manual. Calibration procedures, and updated tube data are readily available at no charge at Bama and elsewhere. All the specs were checked and the tester calibrated and the line voltage with a 6L6 in the socket is at 6.2 volts that will help ensure accurate Gm test results. The two tubes in the tester are both believed to be original to the tester, Hickok 83 and Hickok 5Y3GT, and test as good as new and are balanced. All the specs were checked and the tester calibrated and appears to have hardly been used. The only adjustment made was the signal voltage which was a little low@ 2 vac so it was increased to 2.5 vac which increased the plate voltage to 152 vdc. ... moreAll the bias voltages@ 100. 75, 50, and 22 are right on as well as the high screen voltage@ 135 vdc, and the low screen at 56 vdc. We use an outside source for the calibration tube and the tester is reading 5475 for Gm and the tube calls for 5475. The shunt dial was lightly tagged about one number higher for the 6k range to show 5475, and the 3k range is 2 numbers higher and double checked with a 6ax7 calibration tube. The 15k range was right on the money and two small black dots were added to the shunt dial. After calibrating the tester the 3k was checked with a 6ax7 calibration tube and the spot marked on the shunt dial was perfectly in line with the new mark. The marks may have changed due to increasing the signal voltage to 2.5 vac, but they are right on the money now. The Hickok 6000A series is fairly simple to calibrate and instructions on calibration. The manual, and updated foreign and domestic tube data is readily available at no charge. The calibration can be done using a DMM as long as shunts are used and this tester was calibrated using both an analog and DMM. This tester has a pot to set the signal& plate voltage and with a 6L6 in the socket the filament voltage

Heathkit TT-1 TT-1A Transconductance Tube Tester, VERY NICE, WORKS
This to tube tester has worked well for me when I used it but I haven't used it much recently. In the photographs you can see it working well testing a 6v6 tube. Assume it may need calibration. Though, this tube looks to test accurately. This tester is in excellent condition and is a very highly regarded tube tester.
