This is a pretty small welder that can be moved around relatively easily and has no wheels or base. It has instead four rubber feet. The wire spool can be accessed through the top by removing the screw holding it the lid in place. The other side has hinges. This welder does not come with any accessories besides what is already attached. There is currently no wire loaded into this welder and the tip, which is bent, may require replacing. Though we have not used it the welder seems in pretty good condition with little damage and nothing appears to have been broken off. From my talks with Miller Tech support they think its the CIRCUIT CARD ASSY,BOOST CONTROL PC10. I sent the circuit board for repair to Gem Electronic when I got it back it still didn't work it just buzzed a little on 220 volts Either they didn't fix it right or it has a problem else where. There it no burnt area on any of the board. It looks perfect on every board. It is complete with all board and case. Serial number is LC375279. HOBART AIRFORCE 250A PLASMA CUTTER - 500437 As Is Works But Cuts Out
For sale is a Hobart Airforce 250a plasma cutter. The unit has been tested and has some issues so it is being sold as is for repair. The unit powers on fine and starts to cut but then the unit and air shut off after a few seconds. If you release the trigger and start again it runs for a few more seconds again. I'm not very familiar with these so it may be a simple solution. I've searched online and this is a fairly common problem with plasma cutters. I tried a few quick fixes but didn't get any to last. For a while it seemed to but cutting well but I let it sit a couple weeks and tried it again and it just runs for the few seconds. May be a simple solution or may require parts. The solutions suggested online were simple. The tip is used and I don't have any replacements. Some suggestions online for possible problem included ... morenot being grounded properly. Tip on too tight, and air in line. I just tried these fixes quick but didn't do any extensive work so it may be one of these issues. This unit has previously been reconditioned. Unit has some marks from use but cosmetically is in good condition. There is some exposed wire on the ground unit so it could even be something as simple as to do with the ground. Unit is heavy and will be shipped double boxed to prevent damage. Signature may be required depending on how much it sells for.
