PCB SMD Hot Air Reflow Rework Station HART 200 A
USED Hot Air Reflow SMD Rework Station from NU-Concept. HART 200 A provides a hot air to both the top and bottom on the PCB at the same time. Two stainless steel tubes. One on the top and one on the bottom, can be independently positioned to deliver the hot air to the exact spot on the PCB. The temperature of each hot air flow is also independently adjusted so no overheating or scorching of the pcb will occur. Eithe tube can be fitted with an air choke(see the pictures showing round plates with different aperture shapes in the center) to accomodate for the shape and size of a components. The chokes can be removed completely and this will allow for heating of broad area of the PCB. The AC motor delivers constant flow of the air to both sides of the PCB but you can retract one of the tubes and direct the air flow just to one side. After the ... moreparts on the PCB are removed or replaced. The toggle switch allows to change to the cooling mode and gradually lower the temperature of the PCB to avoid thermal stress and mechanical deformation of the PCB and prevent cracks of the solder joints. The PCB is firmly positioned in a special holder and can be easily moved while working on several components at the time. Even a very large PCB can be mounted in the holder. The simple user instruction is printed on the plate located at the base and will help to set up the right temperature if the operator is not familiar with the process. However. The machine is very easy and intuitive to use and require only the basic knowledge of the reflow process. There is only one toggle. 3-position switch labeled OFF-COLD-HOT and two potentiometers for the temperature adjustment. That's it! This is a very solid and heavy machine built to the old USA standards. Where things were designed and built to last. It can take a lot of abuse and will still work just as fine as it was new. Here is an ERSA IR 500 A as shown in pictures. We are not familiar with this piece of equipment but appears to have something to do with repairing electronic devices and/or circuit boards. Has what appears to be a soldering iron with an associated LED temperature readout and controls. A laser light, a temperature probe with associated temperature adjustments and readout, and upper and lower heating elements. There is what looks to be a serial computer cable connector, and other connector which has nothing connected. Observations we made with the unit plugged up and on were: Laser lights up. Soldering iron heats up and a temperature registers on readout, Temperature probe senses change in temp and shows readings on readout, and both sets of heating elements heat up. Unit shows no obvious signs of damage, but may need adjustment or calibrations, ... morethere may be parts or accessories which are missing, and may possibly need repair etc. We simply do not know enough about it to completely test and verify 100% operation.
