Some of the tests it has are Horizontal Output Load Test, Ringer Test, Horizontal Driver Test, and Dynamic Tests. Up for your pleasure is a. Is a nice condition B& K DYNASCAN. Model 1245 Solid State Color Generator I'm clearing out some shop equipment that we no longer use. We used this a long time ago for doing quick set-ups on large front projection TV sets during installations. Its just been sitting on the equipment shelf for awhile now and is no longer needed. But if your into repairing the older TV sets or possibly video games.here ya go. I have provided lots of pictures so that you can get a good feel for it's condition. Cosmetically it is in good condition. All the knobs. Power cord, handle,switches and test cables are in good shape. The case does show a little wear and tear from being in a working shop. Testing: I connected the unit to a very small and old portable 9 inch color TV/VCR we had laying around. The second picture shows ... morethe actual pictures I took of the TV screen and the patterns it generated on it. not the greatest pictures but just wanted to show it works. I also had to adjust the brightness and contrast of the TV some) Results: First thing I found was that it has been re-tuned to channel 4. It was factory set to channel 3. The instruction manual tells you how to adjust it to channel 3.4 or 5) The controls will need to be cleaned as I had to adjust them a bit to get the patterns to display as shown. The unit has been sitting for awhile and will benefit greatly by cleaning the controls and alignment. The alignment is described in the manual and a basic oscilloscope is needed for this. A downloaded copy of the Instruction Manual is included which describes its operation. RF connections to the TV antenna, connections for the color guns(not tested) Also, the circuit description and alignment procedure. Sorry I could not locate the original manual but they do show up on eBay if you need an original. Please take a look at the pictures and I will try to answer any questions. This auction is for one Pacer Demodulator which is an RF channel Demodulator and very similar to the Pico 900CS demodulator. This powers up fine and works fine and looks good- no rust. Minor scratches on surface. Pacer(like Pico Macom 900CS) demodulator can be used as an analog tuner which includes demodulation of channel 2/3/4 of old retro computer or gaming consoles. It takes a RF input from VCR/Atari 400/800/2600/Pong C140/etc. systems and gives a clear audio/video output on the TV. It allows setting of channel and selecting the various types of signals- TV/Cable/IRC/etc. This will convert the RF signal from an Atari 2600. 5200, 400, 800, XL, XE, VCR, Commodore 64, C-140 Atari Pong, etc. to separate audio and composite video for hooking up to modern TVs that take A/V input. Note that some of the connectors are coaxial so they require the ... moreF adapter(s) that converts the video and audio to RCA type connectors. But these are available for less than a buck. This also supports MPX Audio and composite audio so you can output stereo audio along with composite video.
