Novastar Model 13FD Sn NTI-13FS9308105 13" Finger wave. Foam Fluxer, 3 zones preheat, 63/37 solder in 400 lb pot 220 V. This machine was mfg in germany originally and you can still get all parts except for the controller. We powered this machine up and all works, theres 3 ceramic preheat rods on each side(6 total) that REALLY work well. The only thing is its low on solder probably needs around 100lbs maybe less as youll see in the video but you can also see it works. FYI I cleaned the heck out of this thing after the video so go back and look at pics again after viewing it! It could still use more cleaning inside the previous users werent neat thats for sure. It is capable of cutting and forming 2-leaded and 3-leaded taped radial components at rates up to 25.000 parts per hour. Although we do not have a reel of taped radial components. We did fully exercise the machine to make sure it works correctly: Powers up and cycles correctly over the full speed range of 1 through 10. With the two die stations fully opening and fully closing. Belt is in good condition and indexes properly. Both micrometers zero properly. As shown in the pics. Both micrometers can be adjusted. As shown in the pics. Auxiliary mode light also comes on when mode is selected. As shown. Reset mode and switch works. Cover safety switch works. The CF-9 can be purchased with or without a component reel holder. Although the one ... moresold here did not come with a reel holder. We have included a reel holder from a GPD CF-7 machine(mounted to a board) which should do the trick. If the original CF-9 reel holder is desired, it can be readily purchased from GPD for around $195(part# 904-4-1) This is an opportunity to get a functional machine at a fraction of the normal price. The reason the unit is priced so low is primarily cosmetic. As shown. The plexiglass cover has cracks on both sides, but the cover feels solid and is not detached in any way. Also, the tape roller guide(top-most roller) has cracks and has been glued, as shown. Yet, it feels very sturdy and does not give when flexed with considerable force. One of the micrometers has a homemade battery cover, but it works. The unit does not come with a complete die set. Although one half of one die is installed in the right-most die station. In addition, a GPD Component Counter(resting on top) is thrown in as a bonus. It does not come with an optical probe, so all we could test is that counter powers up.
