This auction is for a very nice Heathkit Model T-4"visual and aural" RF and Audio signal tracer. The probe has a switch that connects a diode detector for checking RF. I can hear a number of broadcast stations when I touch my finger to the probe tip(you need a shunt RF choke or resistor like a 47K to block the AC hum for this test) This has a very high gain amplifier so that you trace a signal in a radio from the antenna all the way to the speaker. This is really useful for checking microphones even low-Z dynamics. This also has terminals for checking by substitution of the audio output transformer and speaker. Bruel & Kjaer Type 4131 Condenser Microphone Cartridge!
Up for your consideration is a Bruel& kjaer type 4131 condenser microphone cartridge. It looks to be in good physical condition but I can't speak to its functionality as I have no way of testing it. The only physical flaw I can see is that the foam packing seems to have stuck to the body of the cartridge. Probably from sitting in its case for a long period of time.
