They fired for probably only a couple second per cycle but have no idea how many cycles. In later years the majority of the units were ran on the remaining line as it is more versatile. This line was purchased around 1983 and we only have maintenance records from 1986. This unit was removed from production and has been stored since 2007. I bought this welder thinking I would have time to use it in my garage. Nope. No time. I loaned it to a friend to do a couple of small jobs and he said it was the best portable welder he ever saw. The little machine is about as close to brand new as you are going to get without buying a new one. Look at the pictures and decide for yourself. This is for a Miller XMT304 CC Stick and TIG welder. This does not have CV and therefore no MIG capability on the panel. But with the Miller SP-32 with Voltage Sensing it can be put in stick mode and used with this wire feeder. This unit is a 2004 LE serial no. and was used at a Votech School. Its in good condition and the school hasn't used it since 2011 since they got money for new equipment. It comes with the grounding lead and a lead to connect the wire feeder. The wire feeder does not use the 14 pin amphenol connector but has a voltage sensing clamp that connects to the work piece for its power source. It doesn't come with anything else. Up for bids is a Miller SR300-32 SMAW/TIG welder. If you know welders. You know what this is. This unit has the High Frequency unit attached. I've arc welded with it but have not used the HF unit yet. Has solenoids for Gas and Water for a water cooled torch. Local pickup prefered but I will drop this off at a freight office for you or work with your shipper. I can strap it to a standard pallet. For shipping calculations this thing weighs about 900lbs. Miller Maxstar 175, Tig / Stick Welder converted to 220 single phase and tested
Miller Maxstar 175 welder converted to 220 single phase power and tested with stick and tig. Works great. Should have about the same output as the Maxstar 152 welder(150 amps DC) Has lift arc. I converted this using instructions on Honda tech forum( do a search) I have done several of these conversions and they work great. Welder comes without power cord because I pulled the cord off my plaz to test it. No leads, no torch, no foot pedal. Pretty clean machine for it's age.
