I acquired these from a lady whose father had been a Radio/ TV Repairman in Ohio back in the 1940's& ... more50's. These were his personal testers and were in working order when they moved here to Florida in the late 1950's and they have been sitting in her garage ever since then. I do not know how to operate or test them so being sold as is and untested. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer them. For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is a Vintage HICKOK MODEL 600-A Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester accompanied by a Hickok CRT-1 Adapter in the original Box. It Measures 17" X 11" X 8" Cosmetically. It appears in very nice condition, some light surface rust ina fw spots but no dings or damage. The case is complete and has normal age related wear. The Adapter aslo appears in good condition, the red electric cord has a small split causing the cloth around the wire inside to be exposed but not the wire itself. The Adapter Box is very fragile and was in pieces when I got it. As shown, I have taped it all back together and, while not cosmetically appealing, it is now functional. There is some paper work with the Adapter(see Photo) and a plastic Instruction Manual Card. There is also an original Instruction Manula for the 600-A Tester, a Guarnbatee Certicficate and a Tube Data Sheet. Shipping weight estimate is 21 pounds. This is ... morethe Sencore BIG MACK CR-168 Universal CRT Tube Tester. According to the units Setup Booklet, the tester was made in 1986 by Sencore INC, Sioux Falls, SD, in USA. I don't know anything about this tester or how to operate it other than I did plug it in and turned the on-off switch to the"on" position and the needle under the plastic dial jumped up a little, then dropped back down. So, I assume the unit does still work. But, I do not know how to operate it nor do I have a tube to try to test it verifying its working condition. It appears to have been hardly used and is in very nice condition. It looks like a more advanced tube tester. It still has all of the numbered plug adapter's and it looks like you can test a variety of different size tubes. The case is in real good condition. See Photo's) Along with the Setup Booklet, comes the original 12-page guarantee pamphlet also. Hard to believe this paperwork was still inside it, so someone must have taken real good care of the tube tester over all these years. I am listing this for what I believe is a lower price compared to other similar tester's I've seen sold on e-Bay. So hopefully someone will be able to get some use out of it. Listed here is a Sel-Sun CRT electronic tube tester. Made by Electronic Tube Co. Darby Penn. Model CS-5. I do not know much about this but I have been told that when a tube is tested& it is good a light will come on. As you can see in the photos the light is on the side. This unit comes in a carry case with handle. It may need cleaning. Wiring on the inside looks good. Not sure of working condition. This unit is possibly from the 1940's era. Manual included. Century Model FC-2 Tube Tester with Manual and Tube Charts in Original Wood Case. The CRT adapter is included. There are 2 tube charts and the original owners manual are included. The owners manual has some water damage. I know nothing about this tester. It did light up when plugged in. I thin the power switch/dial needs to be replaced it comes on in the off position and off in the on position. All other switches seem to work as they are supposed to. Up for auction is an original vintage Heathkit model IT-5230 portable CRT Tester and Rejuvenator dating from the 1960's-1970's. Comes with a bunch of original attachments as seen in the photos. Comes in its original carrying case as seen in the photos. The case is in very nice shape and could use a good cleaning. Tester works as it should and appears to have little use over the years. In excellent original shape. Face is in great shape with no dents. No rust, no scratches, no cracks and all the lettering is in great shape. All the buttons work great and gauge faces are in perfect shape. Weighs 7 1/2 pounds unpacked and measures approx. 13 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" tall. Rare tester and is a must for any collector. This unit will test all common type of CRT Tubes found in most vintage electronic tube type items 1) The model 485 Cathode Ray tube tester will test a cathode ray tube for all of the important factors ... morewhich determine the quality of the tube. The model 465 will check for shorts or leakage between the elements of the tube. It will also indicate between which tube elements the fault exists. 2) The Model 465 will check for the amount of emission from the cathode of a tube 3) The Model 465 will check the cutoff characteristics of a tube 4) The Model 465 will also repair most of the common faults in cathode ray tubes- such as shorts between elements. Clean Mint- Sencore CRT Tester. CR 143 Champion Cathode Ray Tube Testing Television TV Radio] This tester us complete. It has the adapter with the 5 different connectors. The AC plug is flexible like new. The interior is very clean. All the switches. Dials, buttons are present; they are all in Near Mint condition. They fit tight and seem like they have had very little use. The exterior is also Near Mint. All hardware and metal emblem are firmly attached. This was extremely well cared for. The only real issue is a rectangular(1” X 5” area on the front that has a dull look to the finish. It looks like it may be residue from a sticker. I did not try to remove it. I will leave this for the new owner. The rubber stand on the bottom of the tester are all intact and in very good condition. Three of the rubber stands on the back are missing, one ... moreis intact. I have no way to test this tester. But judging from the condition, it probably works fine. Sold As Is No Returns.
