It measures 11 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches and is 4 1/2 inches high. It also comes with a B&K- OPERATOR'S MANUAL. SET-UP CHARTS, REJUVENATOR SET UP CHART This unit is surplus from a large manufacturing plant in our area. And was used to test and repair the equipment. I have tested this unit and all functions seem to work. This unit will test all common type of CRT Tubes found in most vintage electronic tube type items 1) The model 485 Cathode Ray tube tester will test a cathode ray tube for all of the important factors which determine the quality of the tube. The model 465 will check for shorts or leakage between the elements of the tube. It will also indicate between which tube elements the fault exists. 2) The Model 465 will check for the amount of emission from the cathode of a tube 3) The Model 465 will check the cutoff characteristics of a tube 4) The Model 465 will also repair most of the common faults in cathode ray tubes- such as shorts between elements. Open connections to elements and inter-element leakage. 5) The model 465 will rejuvenate picture tubes which have low emission 6) The Model 465 will also predict the probable usefull life of a picture tube. 7) The model 465 will preform all of the above tests and repairs on old and new tubes including the"low G2" tubes that require 50 volts or less of G2 potential and tubes operating at low emission currents. Tube Tester Seco Model 78
Up for auction is another piece of vintage electronics from my shack. Very good cosmetic condition and the tester works as it is supposed to. The SECO Model 78 Grid Circuit and Tube Merit tester is a very compact and highly accurate tube tester designed primarily for the television technician. Its test coverage includes the majority of heater type radio tubes as well as filament rectifiers. Three basic tests are available. Each in turn applies the desired data to a special two stage DC amplifier. The amplified signal voltage which is either D.C. or rectified signal voltage is fed to the meter through the proper amplifier input. These three tests are namely: 1. Grid Circuit and shorts test; 2. Merit test; and 3. Filament continuity. Working VGC 1959 Model FC-2 Century Fast - Check Tube Tester with Booklets
Up for sale is a Century model FC-2 fast test tube tester made by Mercury in Mineola. NY, USA in 1959. As you can see in the picture, I tested a 5U4 and the meter registered all the way into the green. I also tested several 12AX7s and some 6V6s. All tested as they should. The unit has all the original booklets and I am including a Radioshack tube substitution book that came with the tester. Besides working properly, the outside oak case is near immaculate and still has its little rubber feet on the back side. This is a very clean unit. The tester also has the picture tube tester. Which is the extra cable laying on the metal plate. I did not have a CRT to test, but I assume it works fine. The settings for CRTs are in the back of the tube chart.

Precision Model 912 Tube Tester This is an old Tube Tester that I believe was first manufactured in the late 1940’s by the Precision Apparatus Co. Elmhurst. New York. The case is in good physical condition with just the normal scuffs and scrapes for a 60 year old unit. When the unit is powered on. The meter moves from the red zone to the yellow zone(See pictures) but that is all I can tell about the working condition of the unit. good working vintage U-TEST-EM stationary floor model electron tube tester
SquareTrade © AP6.0 1960 vintage U-Test-Em model 1901 stationary tube tester. 58 1/2" tall x 21" wide x 20" front to back. Sheet metal cabinet has locking door on the bottom with slide out tray shelves. There are 5 tray slots but only 2 trays. Cabinet is in fair cosmetic condition but equipment appears to be good working. Glass insert on the cabinet base door is cracked. Glass panel with advertising is missing from the overhead light section. Some minor surface rust and wear and on the cabinet. For testing Efficiency. Plug the tube into the correct socket and allow 30 seconds to warm up. Meter should read at the chart indicated value or higher. I tested several tubes and the values appear reasonable. I have a brand new 6U7 tube which shows a value of 50 on the cabinet chart and the meter tests at 55. I have a used 6K7 ... morewhich should test at 50 but only registers 40. Shorts or gas leaks should light up on the panel but none of the tubes I tested appear to be faulty in that respect. There is a toggle power switch mounted on the panel, however, the only way to turn off the overhead light is to unplug the unit. Pretty neat and usable unit. For local pick up here in York, PA 17406. I have not tested the rest of this unit with the exception of number 8 which I found was not working when I tried to test a 12ax7. I replaced two tubes in this tester a#83 and a 6BN8. The tester works as seen in the pictures with a 6SN7 tube. The circuit transfer works on this unit as well. The gauge is faded on the replaced(not good tube side) but is still functional. Since I have not completely tested this unit I am selling this as is for parts or repair. It comes with a manual as seen in the pictures.
