This has not been tested so condition is unknown. The cylinder is a calibration device that had two nine volt batteries in it. The leads need to be replaced. Nothing is known about the insides of the meter. That's up to you. This would make a great gift to your favorite sound engineer who thinks 11 really is a setting on his amps. Made in Redwood City California in 1971 this meter was right there at the beginning of what would later Silicon Valley. Snap it up. There just aren't many of these around.
